Gemma Addison graduated from Brunel University with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy in 2007. She spent 5 years consolidating her knowledge in a wide range of clinical settings whilst working under the expert care and guidance of the NHS. During this time she also gained a post graduate qualification in acupuncture as well as attending multiple professional courses to expand her skills.  After deciding on a career in the musculoskeletal field Gemma secured a position working for an acclaimed hospital in Singapore. She spent 4 years here and was quickly promoted to a senior role where she was responsible for educating and guiding the students and junior physiotherapists.

She returned to the UK 18 months ago and has since been working in private practice in the Bristol area.  Whilst in Singapore she successfully completed an advanced certificate in the management of complex musculoskeletal conditions that involved teaching from world renowned leaders in Neck, Back, Knee, Hip and Shoulder conditions.  She is currently undergoing a mentorship program which involves analysing the current research surrounding the management of pain and injuries. Gemma always provides a comprehensive and holistic approach to her care, this alongside her commitment to providing  an evidence based treatment plan, means you can always be assured of getting the best care available for you.

Gemma is a keen fitness enthusiast and has tried her hand at most sports, from kickboxing to Iron Man triathlons, so she is well equipped to help you whatever your sporting background. As a long distance runner, horse rider and body builder Gemma is not a stranger to injuries and therefore has first hand experience of how to prevent and manage them. She has the passion and know how for maintaining a balanced and healthy lifestyle and likes nothing better than to share her knowledge to promote a better quality of life in all her patients.
